Retail Chain store Alworths to set up shop in Alloa

The  chain store Alworths are coming to Alloa. The successful company  created from the embers  of Woolworths, was set up by Andy Latham who has rapidly built up a portfolio of stores throughout the UK and most recently opened  stores in Cupar and Forfar. The Alloa store is expected to open in July and the company are currently advertising for staff.

Products sold,  include haberdashery  confectionery, snacks and treats, greeting cards, wrapping paper, gift tags and boxes, stationery and books, toys for all ages, fashionable and practical items for the home, kitchen and bathroom, household essentials etc.

The company stresses that they are not a pound shop although there will be a designated pound zone in the store.

The store will be located in the former Ethel Austin premises in Shillinghill.
